Make sure to get what you want: book your dinner or your excursion with us.
We know this region and the region knows us and we know the “places-to-go” in the Netherlands.
In case you had enough of green, space and tranquility, we do have alternatives !
The immediate surroundings are an invitation to hike, biking and canoeing.
You may even take a short flight or go swimming in a highly modern swimming pool offering indoor as well as open air pools.
There is African drumming, horseback riding, walking with a donkey, visit four zoo’s or
shop till you drop at Nijmegen (Nl), Kleve or Oberhausen (the largest shopping mall in Western Europe)
Our region is known for it’s Roman history (the Roman empire´s Northern border) and, of course for the WW II events such as the battle of the Reichswald and the battle of Arnhem (a bridge too far) on the river Rhine.
We are proud to mention that there is a special museum for the blind. Please see the button “Tourist info”.
Eating out ?
Our neighbourhood hosts five good restaurants serving many regional dishes like asparagus fresh from the surrounding fields and traditionally roasted goose.
Kids will surely enjoy an ice cream from “Marion’s Eiscafé” or French fries at the “ Dorff Grill”.

Pay a visit to the Roman Catholic pilgrim city of Kevelaer with its impressive churches and chapels.
You may watch hundreds of burning candles placed there by devotees.
The famous pilgrimroute that leads to Kevelaer and ultimately to Santiago de Compostella in Spain crosses within ten meters from our house.
